ἔκφορ-ος , ον,
A.exportable, f.l. for ἐκφορά, Ar.Pl.1138.
2. to be made known or divulged, “εἰ δ᾽ ἔ. σοι ξυμφορὰ πρὸς ἄρσενας” E.Hipp. 295; “οὐδεὶς γὰρ ἔ. λόγος” Pl.La.201a; cf. “ἐκφορά” 1.2.
3. carried astray, Plu.2.424a; ἵππος ἔ. a runaway horse, Gal.5.510.
4. ἔκφορα, τά, produce of the earth, Antipho Soph.60.
II. Act., carrying out:—in A.Eu.910 τῶν δυσσεβούντων ἐκφορωτέρα is not, more ready to carry them out to burial (v. “ἐκφορά” 1), but rather, more ready to weed them out, as a gardener does noxious plants (ἀνδρὸς φιτυποίμενος δίκην, in next line).
2. blabbing, betraying secrets, Ar.Th.472.
3. = εὐέκφορος (quod fort. leg.), “γυναῖκες” Arist.Fr.283.
4. expressive, “κίνησις ἔ. τινος” Chrysipp.Stoic.3.112.
