ἐξαίσι-ος , ον, also α, ον X.HG4.3.8:—
A.beyond what is ordained or fated, opp. ἐναίσιος: hence,
1. outstepping right, lawless, ῥέξας ἐξαίσιον having done some lawless act, Od.4.690; τινά που δείσας . . . fearing some lawless man, 17.577; “Θέτιδος . . . ἀρήνIl.15.598; “ἀφροσύναιB.14.58.
2. of omens, portentous, opp. ἐναίσιος, D.C. 38.13: Sup., Id.45.17.
