A.make ambiguous, ἐξημφοτέρικεν τὸν λόγον has led the argument into a contradiction (by answering 'neither and both'), Pl.Euthd.300d; ἐξαμφοτερίσας: τὸ ἀμφίβολον ποιῆσαι, καὶ τὸ δύο πραγμάτων ἐκπεσεῖν, Hsch., cf. EM347.7.
