Ἄρη” A.Supp.683, 702, cf. 99 (all lyr.):—Med. and Pass., arm oneself, στολήν . . λέοντος, ᾗπερ . . ἐξωπλίζετο, of Hercules, E.HF466; get under arms, stand in armed array, Id.IT302; “ὄπισθεν τῶν ἁρμαμαξῶν ἐξοπλίσθητε” X.Cyr. 6.3.32; “ἐξωπλισμένος” fully armed, Ar.Lys.454, Pl.R.555d, etc.
