ἐγκα^κέω ,
A.behave remissly in a thing, ἐνεκάκησαν τὸ πέμπειν they culpably omitted to send, Plb.4.19.10, cf. Thd.Pr.3.11, Sm.Ge.27.46: c. part., “τὸ καλὸν ποιοῦντες μὴ ἐγκακῶμεν” Ep.Gal.6.9: abs., Ev.Luc. 18.1, al., cf. BGU1043.3 (iii A. D.); cf. ἐκκακέω.
