A.carry or bring out, Hdt. 1.34, 3.24, E.Tr.294 ; esp. to a place of safety, Hdt.1.160, 3.122, Th. 2.6 ; ἐκκομίζειν τινὰ ἐκ τοῦ μέλλοντος γίνεσθαι πρήγματος to keep him out of trouble, Hdt.3.43 :—Med., Id.8.20, Th.2.78 ; ἐσεκομίσαντο καὶ ἐξεκομίσαντο ἐβούλοντο, of those relieved from a state of siege, Id.1.117 : abs., remove,ἐς τοὺς ΛοκρούςHdt.8.32.
