I. c. acc. rei vel loci, go into,
3. sink in, hence τρίβος ἐνδεδυκώς sunken path, Id.Arat.22; ῥίς sunken nose, Id.Publ.16.
II. causal in pres. ἐνδύω, fut. -δύσω: aor. 1 -έδυσα:—put on another, clothe in, c. dupl. acc., “τὴν ἐξωμίδ᾽ ἐνδύσω σεAr.Lys.1021; “ὃς ἐμὲ κροκόεντ᾽ ἐνέδυσενId.Th.1044, cf. X.Cyr.1.3.3.
2. clothe,ἐνδύουσι τὤγαλμαHdt.2.42; “ἐὰν . . πένητα γυμνὸν ἐνδύσῃςPhilem.176; σύ με ἐνδέδυκας [prob. υ^] PGiss.77.8 (ii A.D.).
