A.accursed, laid under a curse,. ποιεῖσθαιTh.8.97; ἐπάρατον ἦν μὴ οἰκεῖν which it was accursed to inhabit, Id.2.17; τῷ δὲ ἐπάρατον τύχην [γενέσθαι] Pl.Lg.877a; of persons, Arist.(?) Fr.148, Ev.Jo.7.49, J.AJ6.6.3: Sup., “γενεάPh.1.516; used in imprecations on those who violated graves, CIG2824 (Aphrodisias), etc.
