A.labour or toil at, prepare or finish carefully, “ἐπήσκηται δέ οἱ αὐλὴ τοίχῳ καὶ θριγκοῖσι” Od.17.266.
II. adorn, exalt, “τινὰ τιμαῖς” Pi.N.9.10, cf. Fr.194.4; “τινὰ μήδεσι” Id.Parth.2.71.
