ἐπι[πολ]-ή , , ῾ἐπιτέλλω (B)) pl. Ἐπιπολαί, αἱ, the Rise, a triangular plateau near Syracuse which rises from its base (the wall of Achradina) to its apex (Euryalus), Th.6.96, etc.
