ἐπιδαψι^λεύω , intr.,
A.abound, be abundant, Ister 43, Hsch. s.v. Συβαριτικοὶ λόγοι: but more commonly,
II.. Med., lavish upon a person, bestow freely, “τὰς ἑωυτῶν μητέρας καὶ τὰς ἀδελφεὰς ὑμῖνHdt. 5.20, cf. Ph.1.400; [τὰν δαπάναν] Supp.Epigr.1.327.7 (Callatis, i A.D.); . τινί τοῦ γέλωτος give him freely of it, X.Cyr.2.2.15: metaph., illustrate more richly, Luc.DMort.30.2.
2.. intr., to be lavish, Arist VV1250b25, Ph.2.170; “ἔν τινιD.H.Rh.6.2, Luc.Pr.Im.14.
