2.. abs., run ashore, Od.9.138; “χέρσῳ . ἐρετμοῖςA.R.3.575: c.acc., γῆν . Id.2.352; also of the ship itself, “ μὲν ἔπειτα ἠπείρῳ ἐπέκελσενOd.13.114; of a fish, rush into the net, Numen. ap. Ath.7.321b (cj. for ἐπιτέλσωντα).
