ἐπικηρ-ύσσω , Att. ἐπικήρ-ττω , pf.

D.I.c.; λάφυρον κατά τινων issue letters of marque, Plb.4.26.7:—Pass., “καί οἱ φυγόντι . . ἀργύριον ἐπεκηρύχθηHdt.7.213; τὰ ἐπικηρυχθέντα χρήματα the price set upon one's head, Nymphod.12, cf. Plu. Them.26; but also ἐπικηρυχθείς the proscribed person, outlaw, D.C.37.10 (pl.).
