A.cause to forget, ὁ γάρ τ᾽ [ὕπνος] ἐπέλησεν ἁπάντων laps one in forgetfulness of all, Od.20.85; ἡδονὴ “σφέας ἐπιλήθουσα τῶν πάρος” Aret.CD2.12; “ἐπιλήσει σε ἀφροδισίων” Philostr.Ep.68:—Pass., to be forgotten, in pf. part. “ἐπιλελησμένος” LXX Is.23.16, Ev.Luc.12.6: fut. “-λησθήσομαι” LXX Wi.2.4.
