A.“-σκευῶ” PSI4.382.3 (iii B.C.):—get ready, “δεῖπνον” Ar.Ec.1147（Pass.); ἐ. ναῦν refit, Th.1.29, etc.; ἐ. ἵππους saddle, equip them, X.HG5.3.1 (s.v.l.):—Med., ἐπισκευάσασθαι ναῦς have them refitted, Th.7.36; ἐ. ὑποζύγια have them packed, pack them, X. HG7.2.18.
2.. τὰ χρήματα ἐφ᾽ ἁμαξῶν ἐπισκευάσαι pack them upon . . , Id.Cyr.7.3.1.
3.. Med., provide oneself with necessaries for a journey, Act.Ap.21.15.
II.. make afresh, repair, restore, “τὰ τείχη” Th.7.24; τὸν ναόν Inscr. ap. X.An.5.3.13; “τὰς τριήρεις” And.3.14, cf. Lys.Fr.34; “τὰς ὁδούς” D.3.29:—Med., “πόλιν παλαιὰν ἐ. διεφθαρμένην” Pl.Lg.738b:—Pass., PPetr.2pp.34,62 (iii B.C.).
