b. submit a person's name, PCair.Preis.18.7 (iv A.D.), etc.
2. take a messagein, E.Ba.173 : generally, announce, report a thing, “τὰ ἐσαγγελλόμενα” Th.6.41; of the senses, “εἰ. πολλὰς διαφοράς” Arist.Sens.437a2, cf. Insomn.461b3:—Pass., “ἐσαγγελθέντων ὅτι..” information having been given that..., Th.1.116, cf.3.3,6.52.
3. lay information, = μηνύω, X.HG3.3.5, OGI669.39(Egypt, i A.D.).
II. in the technical sense of εἰσαγγελία, lay an impeachment, “περί τινος εἰς τὴν βουλήν” Antipho 6.35, cf.
