Plu.Demetr.17: in Att. always in pl., εὐαγγέλια θύειν to make a thank-offering for good-tidings, Isoc.7.10, Men. Pk.415; “εὐ. θύειν ἑκατὸν βοῦς τῇ θεῷAr.Eq.656; ἐβουθύτει ὡς εὐ. X.
