I. of persons, skilful in contriving, inventive, opp. ἀμήχανος, A.Eu.381 (lyr.), Pl.Prt.344d, etc.: c. gen., “εὐμήχανος λόγουId.Cra.408b; “ἁλίων εὐ. ἔργωνOpp.H. 4.593: with a Prep., εὐ. πρὸς τὸν βίον, of birds, full of devices for supporting life, Arist.HA614b34, cf. 616b34: Sup., of the bee, Gp.15.3.1; “ἔν τινιD.S.20.92: τὸ εὐ., = foreg., Plu.2.830c.
