εὐπορ-έω , fut. -ήσω: aor. εὐπόρησα: pf.
A.εὐπόρηκαDiph.43.19, etc., ηὐπ- Pl.Hp.Ma.297e, Plu.2.403f:—prosper, thrive, εὐποροῦσι γὰρ οἱ ὀλίγοι are wealthy, Arist.Pol.1280a4, cf. SIG344.116 (Teos, iv B.C.); “εὐ. ἀπὸ τῶν πονηροτάτωνX.Mem.2.7.4; “οἱ εὐποροῦντεςAmphis 15.6; of things, ὅθεν πόλεμος εὐπορεῖ from which sources war is successfully maintained, Th.6.34.
2. find a way, find means, abs., “ὡς ἕκαστοι ηὐπόρησανTh.6.44, cf.Pl.Grg.478a: c. inf., to be able to do, “ἐπιχειρεῖνArist. Top.102a13 (also “τοῦ πολλὰ λέγεινPl.Phdr.235a); also εὐπορῶ τι λέγω I have plenty to say, Id.Ion532c: c. part., Id.Lg.634b; τοῦτο εὐ. to be provided with an answer on this point, Id.Euthd.279a; οὐκ εὐ. ὅπῃ . . not to know how to do, Id.Smp.219e; “μᾶλλον εὐ. πρὸς τὴν γνῶσινArist.PA644b28.
