A.reverence towards the gods or parents, piety or filial respect, “εὐ. εἰς θεοὺς καὶ γονέαςPl.R.615c, etc.; “μιαίνων εὐσέβειαν ἌρηςA.Th.344 (lyr.); εὐ. Ζηνός towards him, S.El.1097 (lyr.); πρὸς εὐσέβειαν, = εὐσεβῶς, ib.464; εὐ. πρός, περὶ τοὺς θεούς, Pl. Smp.193d, Isoc.12.124, cf. 10.58; “πρὸς ἀδελφόνD.C.48.5; πρὸς τὸ θεῖον εὐ.
