φύξι^μος , ον, (φεύγω) older and poet. form of φεύξιμος, of places,
A.whither one can flee, or where one can take refuge, ὅθι μοι φάτο φύξιμον εἶναι where she said it was possible for me to escape, Od.5.359; “φ. τόποςPlb.13.6.9; “φύξιμον οὐδένId.9.29.4; “ἱερὸν φ.an asylum, Plu.Rom.9; φ. λιμήν a harbour of refuge, Id.2.823a: cf. φύξιον.

2. which one would flee from, i. e. loathsome,ὀδμήSimon.250, Nic.Th.54 (s.v.l.).
III. c. acc., σ᾽ ἀθανάτων φύξιμος οὐδείς is able to escape thee, S.Ant.788 (lyr.).
