2. with Verbs,

b. in ind. of all tenses, “. πείθομαιE.Or.143 (lyr.): freq. in LXX and NT with past tenses, Ge.24.15,al., Ev.Matt.27.51, al.; in the middle of a sentence, Ev.Luc.13.16.
3. with questions, ., τί ἔστιν; Ar.Nu.825, Eq.157.
4. in repeating another's words quizzingly, as ἰδού γ᾽ ἄκρατον wine, quotha! ib.87; . λέγειν ib.344; “ἰδού γε κλέπτεινId.Th.206, cf. Ec.136.
