II. commander of eight elephants, Ascl.Tact.9, Ael.Tact.23:— hence ἰλ-αρχέω , Boeot. ϝιλαρχίω , command cavalry, IG7.3087 (Lebad.), 3206 (Orchom.), 2466 (Thebes).
