A.deem worthy, c. acc. et inf., D.59.111; hold in honour, Plb.4.86.8: c. gen. rei, deem worthy of a thing, “τάξεως τὸν κίνδυνον” Id.1.23.3; “τινὰ μεγάλης ἀποδοχῆς” D.S.2.60:—Med., οὔτε νιν . . Δίκη προσεῖδε καὶ κατηξιώσατο did not regard and hold in high esteem, A.Th.667:—Pass., to be held worthy, “πρεσβείας” Plb.12.10.8, cf. Iamb.VP36.265; “ἔργον ἐπιφανὲς καὶ κατηξιωμένον” Plb.5.83.4.
