A.bend down, so as to be concave, ἐξ ὀρθοῦ κ. Pl.Ti. 71c; εἰς ἓν κύκλῳ ib.36b; κ. τὰς στροφάς, v. στροφή 1.3:—Pass., opp. ἀνακάμπτομαι, Arist.Mete.386a1; “φλὲψ ἐπὶ τὴν ῥάχιν -ομένηGal.15.530: pf. part. Pass. -κεκαμμένος bending over, cj. in Thphr.HP3.18.8.
