2. in Att., = Homeric ἀντικρύ, over against, right opposite, “πρυτάνεων καταντι^κρύ” Ar.Ec.87; τὰ κ. Κυθήρων the parts opposite Cythera, Th.7.26, cf. X.HG4.8.5; κ. ᾗ . . ἐξέπεσεν exactly opposite to the point at which . . , dub. l. in Pl. Phd.112d: c. dat., “κ. τῇ θέσει” Arist.Mete.356a10; “τῷ ἡλίῳ” D.C.60.26.
II. Adv. of Place, right opposite, ἡ ἤπειρος ἡ κ. Th.1.136; “ἐν τῷ κ. προσστῆναί τινι” Pl.Euthd.274c, cf.
