A.obtain by allotment, esp. of conquered lands divided among the conquerors, “κ. τῶν Χαλκιδέων τὴν χώρηνHdt.6.100, cf. SIG 332.6 (iv/iii B.C.), 502.41 (Samothrace, iii B.C.), App.BC5.74 (and in Med., ib.27): generally, “ἄλλοι κατ᾽ ἄλλους τόπους κληρουχήσαντες θεῶνPl.Criti.109c.
