A.docked, “δόρυIl.16.117; of oxen, stump-horned or hornless, “τὸ γένος τῶν βοῶν τὸ κ.Hdt.4.29; κόλε, addressed to a hegoat, Theoc.8.51 (s.v.l.); of the κεράστης, Nic.Th.260.
2. a kind of goat without horns, prob. the animal described by Str.7.4.8, Hsch.
3. κόλος μάχη, name of Il.8, Sch.Il.8 init.; cf. κολοβομάχη.
