2. generally, daub over, as with pitch, “ἀγγεῖα κεκονιαμέναD.S.19.94.
3. metaph., κ. τὸ πρόσωπον paint, disguise it, Philostr.Ep.22:—Pass., “κεκονιαμένοιLXXPr.21.9 (κεκονιαμένους is f.l. for κεκονιμένους Them.Or.7.91d).
