2. generally, dirt, sweepings, σαρώματα . . σὺν τῷ κ. Wilcken Chr.198.16 (iii B.C.).
II. metaph., dirty fellow, “χαίρει τις αὐχμῶν ῥυπῶν, κ. ἀναπέφηνενAnaxandr.34.6, cf. Aristopho 10.8; “Εὐκτήμων κ.D. 21.103.
