κωλῆ , , contr. from κωλέα, which occurs in Anaxipp.1.38, LXX 1 Ki.9.24: κωλία (v. κωλίαν) is a dialectal form: (κῶλον):—
A.thighbone with the flesh on it, ham, esp. of a swine, Ar.Pl.1128, Fr.224, X. Cyn.50.30, Pl.Com.17(pl.), Amips.7; “ἐρίφουXenoph.6.1; “βοὸς κ.Luc.Lex.6; the portion of the priestess at a sacrifice, IG22.1361.5, SIG1015.10 (Halic.), etc.
