A.entirely, wholly, at all, “λείως γὰρ οὐδὲν ἐφρόνεονArchil.112, cf. Hp. ap. Gal.19.118:—elsewh. only found in the compds. λεωργός (q.v.); λεω-κόνητος , λεχ-κόνιτος , or λεχ-κόρητος , utterly destroyed, Theognost.Can.9, Hsch., Phot.: λεώλεθρος , λεώλης , ες, utterly destroyed, Hsch. (also λειώλης , q.v., cf. “λιωλεθρίαHsch.): λεωπάτητος [α^], ον, v.l. for λακπάτητος, S.Ant. 1275.—The Gramm. expl. it as shortd. for τελέως, A.D.Pron.58.12, Erot.l.c. (ubi λίως codd.), Gal.l.c. (ubi male λεῶς), EM560.31.
