Act. belong to μεθύσκω μεθύσας is f.l. in Nonn.D.28.211; μεθύσαντας is f.l. for -τες in Plu.2.239a), aor. being supplied by Pass. of μεθύσκω:— be drunken with wine, “νευστάζων κεφαλῇ, μεθύοντι ἐοικώςOd.18.240; μεθύων, opp. νήφων, Thgn.478,627, cf.
