A.change of position, transposition, Arist.Metaph.1024a4; “μεταθέσεις ἐξ ἕδρας ἀτόμων” Epicur.Fr.61; “ἡ τῶν ῥημάτων μ.” D.24.84, cf. D.S.1.23; “τοῦ ἀναβαθμοῦ” PSI5.546 (iii B. C.); “τοῦ ἐμβρύου” Sor.2.60; couching of a cataract, Gal.10.990.
2. generally, change, “θεὸς οὐδεμίαν ἐπιδεχόμενος μ.” Arist.Mu. 400b29; “μ. ἐκ τῆς οἰκείας φύσεως” Phld.Rh.1.216 S.; “νόμου μ.” Ep.Hebr. 7.12; esp. change of sides or opinions, “ἐπὶ τὸ βέλτιον” Plb.1.35.7, cf.
