5. ἀντὶ τοῦ ἰῶτα ἦτα μ. use one for another, Pl.Cra. 418c.
II. intr., turn another way, change one's ways, τι μεταστρέψεις; Il.15.203: aor. part. μεταστρέψας contrariwise, Pl.Grg.457a (pl.), R.587d.
2. turn so as to punish or avenge, of the gods, “μή τι μεταστρέψωσιν ἀγασσάμενοι κακὰ ἔργαOd.2.67 (unless trans., turn back (upon the sinners), cf. “μετάτροπος2).
3. c. gen., care for, regard, E.Hipp.1226.
