2. mound or building in honour of the dead, monument, tomb, Hdt.7.167, Epigr.ib.228, IG12.906, etc.; “ἐν τοῖς δημοσίοις μνήμασιν κειμένουςD.18.208; coffin, E.Or.1053.
3. memorial dedicated to a god, Simon.138; “μνάματα ναυ μαχίαςId.134, cf. Epigr. ap. D.S.11.14: generally, monument, SIG2B (Sigeum, vi B. C.).
