A.a musical instrument of ten or (acc. to J.AJ7.12.3) of twelve strings, cj. in S.Fr.849, cf. LXX 1 Ki.10.5, al.:—also νάβλας , α, , Sopat.16, Philem.44, Str.10.3.17; cf. “ναῦλον1. (Semitic word, cf. Hebr. nēbel; Phoenician, acc. to Ath.4.175b.).
