A.lie in a harbour or creek, esp. lie in wait in order to sally out on passing ships, abs. in Hdt.7.189, 192, 8.6, E.IA249 (lyr.):— Med., “ναυλοχεῖσθαί τινιD.H.1.44 (s. v.l.).
