A.celebrate ὄργια, E.Ba.415 (lyr.), etc.: c. acc., “. τελετήνPl.Phdr.250c; “ἱεράId.Lg.910c; θυσίας, πομπάς,χορείαςPlu.Num.8: c. dat., pay ritual service to a god or goddess,ταύτῃStr.10.3.12:—so in Med., ὀργιάζεσθαι δαίμοσι, and in Pass., of the sacred places, have service done in them, both in Pl.Lg.717b.
II. c. acc., honour or worship with ὄργια, ταύτην v.l. in Str. l.c. ; “τοὺς μεγάλους θεούςD.H.1.69, cf. Plu.Cic.19.
