2. of ancient fame, made known or declared of old, “γενεάPi.N.6.31; “γένοςA.Supp.532 (lyr.); “πρόνοιαS.Tr.823 (lyr.); “ΔίκηId.OC1381; Ἀχάρναι δὲ παλαίφατον εὐάνορες Acharnae was brave of old time, Pi.N.2.16.
