(?) ap.Ath.4.183f, MAMA3.24 (Seleucia ad Calycadnum) (written φάνδουρος and used of the monochord by Nicom.Harm. 4):—Dim. παν-δούριον , τό, Hsch. and Phot. s.v. πηκτίς:—also παν-δουρίς , ίδος, , Hsch., Gloss.:—hence παν-δουρίζω , play the πανδοῦρα, Hist.Aug.Elag.32; παν-δουριστής , οῦ, , one who plays it, Euph.Fr. Hist.8, JRS18.177 (Jerash).
