II. in later writers the aor. παρεδέχθην takes also a pass. sense, Luc.VH2.21, Gloss.; “ἀξιῶ παραδεχθῆναί τινα εἰς τοὺς ἐφήβουςto be admitted, POxy.477.24 (ii A. D.); also, to be credited as a set-off, BGU831.15 (iii A. D.): so fut. “-δεχθήσομαιPAmh.2.86.13 (i A. D.).
