A.set down beside, station or establish beside, “στρατιώτας ὥσπερ ἐπόπτας π.D.4.25; “πολιτείας ἐναντίας π.Isoc. 4.104, cf. IG12.46.9; “π. ἐπίτροπόν τινιD.S.16.38, cf. PCair.Zen.199.7 (iii B. C.), PRev.Laws54.15 (iii B. C.):—Pass., παρακαθεσταμένος τινί being made his colleague, D.S.16.47.
