Arist. GA746b7 ; “ π. διὰ πικρότητα κόρχοροςThphr.HP7.7.2 ; τὸ π. as the proverb goes, Plu.2.95 of; ὥστε π. πρὸς προσποιουμένους it is proverbial of pretenders, Str. 10.4.17.
