A.“πρόχον” SIG1121 (Naucratis, vii/vi B.C.): nom. pl. πρόχοι ib.1026.25 (Cos, iv/iii B.C.); dat. pl. πρόχουσι is f.l. in E.Ion435; acc. pl. “πρόχους” X.Cyr.5.2.7, Ael.NA5.23: (προχέω):—vessel for pouring out, jug, esp. ewer for pouring water upon the hands of guests, Il.24.304, Od.1.136, 4.52, 15.135, Hes. Th.785, S.Ant.430, E. l.c., Anaxandr.41.27 (anap.), Xenarch.7.14, etc.
