II. intr., cease, fail, “φονος . . οὐ προλείπει . . Ἀτρείδαις” E.Or.817 (lyr.); “εἴ τῳ προλίποι ἡ ῥώμη” Th.7.75; of persons, faint, fall into a swoon, E.Hec.438.
