B. Att. writers (also Inscrr. and Pap., v. infr.) prefer Med. προνοοῦμαι , Th.6.9, etc. (so also X.An.7.7.33, Mem.4.3.12): fut. “-ήσομαιD.Prooem.43, IG22.1035.18, D.H.8.90, etc.: aor. “προὐνοησάμηνE. Hipp.399, Ar.Eq.421, Antipho 5.43; in Prose mostly προὐνοήθην, Pl. Cra.395c, Lys.3.29, Is.2.46, D.44.64, PSI3.166.34 (ii B. C.) (used in pass. sense by S.E.M.9.404, Gal.2.632): pf. “προνενόημαιPlb.6.48.2, D.S.12.69 (but inf. “πεπρονοῆσθαι17.23), etc.—The sense and constr. are the same as in the Act.: provide,ταῦταTh.4.61, cf. Is. l.c., D.44.64, etc.; οὐδέν Pl.l.c.; “οἰκίδιόν τινιD.L.6.23; “τὰ συμφέροντα ὑπὲρ τῶν μελλόντωνX.Mem. l.c.: abs., Lys.3.29, etc.; π. περὶ τούτων ib.37; “ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν καὶ τῆς πόλεωςId.26.15, cf.
