A.bring, “πρόσαιρε τὸ κανοῦν, εἰ δὲ βούλει, πρόσφερε” Pherecr. 137; bring to a person, administer, “ἢν . . ἀσθενέοντι προσαίρῃ τις ποτόν” Hp.Acut.44:—so in Med., take, consume, eat or drink, Id.VM6, Acut. 47, Phylotim. ap. Ath.3.81b; π. οἶνον, σιτία, Gal.7.141, UP4.7: c. gen., Id.11.336.
2. raise to a higher level, “τὴν ἠχὼ τῆς διαλέξεως” Philostr. VS2.5.3.
II. προσήραντο is prob. f. l. for συνήραντο, they took part, in D.C.43.17.
