θει-άζω , (θεῖος A) be inspired, frenzied, ὁπόσοι αὐτοὺς θειάσαντες ἐπήλπισαν as many as made them hope by divinations, Th.8.1; θ. καὶ θεοφορεῖται is divinely inspired, Ph.1.479; ὁπόσοι τελεταῖς ἐθείαζον obtained inspiration through ritual, Philostr.Her.5.3.
