A.of or for θεωρία (signfs. 1 and 11), πεπλώματ᾽ οὐ θεωρικά no festal robes, E.Supp.97; θ. σκηνή the tent used by the θεωροί, Henioch.5.8; θ. ὁδός,= “θεωρίς” 1.2, Poll.2.55. Adv. “-κῶς” Hsch.
II. θεωρικόν, τό （θεωρικός, ὁ, seems to be an error in Phld.Rh.2.208 S.), at Athens, fund for providing free seats at public spectacles, οἱ ἐπὶ τὸ θ. Arist.Ath.43.1, cf. 47.2, D.18.113, IG22.223C5; ἡ ἀρχὴ ἡ ἐπὶ τῷ θ. Aeschin.3.24: pl. (sc. χρήματα), D.3.11, Harp., etc., cf. Plu.Per.9: so elsewh. θεωρικά, with or without χρήματα, fund for festivals, POxy.1333 (ii/iii A.D.), 473.4 (ii A.D.).
